Russ Miller is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ClearBridge Compensation Group. Russ has over 25 years of experience advising boards and senior management on executive compensation and incentive plan design.
Russ advises Compensation Committees and management of Fortune 500 companies, as well as other companies across various industries and stages of development. In addition to ongoing compensation design, he advises companies through many complex situations (e.g., M&A, IPO) and change initiatives, helping companies to transform their compensation programs to align with their new strategic direction.
Russ is a guest lecturer at Wharton Business School and a frequent speaker at industry conferences. He is frequently quoted in major publications such as The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, and has been featured on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and PBS News Hour.
Prior to founding ClearBridge, Russ was the Managing Director of Korn Ferry’s executive compensation practice where he joined from Mercer as a Principal. Prior to that, he was the Senior Partner in the New York office of SCA Consulting.
Russ holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Finance from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
Russ lives in Boulder, CO with his wife Mindy and their two daughters. When not in the office, he is either skiing down the slopes, playing tennis, or walking his four furry canines.
